Minor Surgeries

Skin Tag Removal

Skin tags are small, fleshy coloured growths that often look like warts. They commonly occur in the armpits, neck and groin. They tend to form when the skin rubs against itself and they are common for both men and women. Skin tags are harmless and unless they are caught, they are painless. We offer a removal service for those who decide that they are unsightly, or that they catch on your clothes or jewellery.

The removal for up to 10 skin tags: £100

The removal for 10-20 skin tags: £170

The removal seborrhea warts ;£200.00

Second seb wart £100.00

Short Wave Diathermy

This is a low risk, non-invasive treatment that uses a hot needle to prick the affected section of the skin. From there, a small electrical current is passed through the vein, causing it to disperse.

Thus reducing the appearance of bloodspots, warts, small moles and red veins.

This treatment requires a local anaesthetic cream 1 hour prior to treatment - this numbs the area to limit any uncomfortable side effects during treatment. Post-treatment, you will experience the treated area being pink (from the heat) and puffy - this will settle down in the next couple of hours.  When treating veins, the results will be immediate but it is important to remember that the area is still healing.

Other treatments will see improvements after 4 weeks.

A 15 minute consultation will cost £90.

Mole Removal

Moles are made up of cells which give your skin colouring. Moles can be flat or raised, rough or smooth and occasionally can have hair growing out of them. They are normally symmetrical, and thankfully, most moles are harmless. However - due to their nature, they can be unsightly, causing a lack of confidence. Some moles can be traumatized by clothing or shaving, making them sore.

If you come in for a mole treatment, you will be assessed and if it is safe to do so, they can be removed.

Single mole removal: £400

Additional mole removal: £120

Please note that a consultation for a mole investigation will cost £50.

Upon assessment, if the moles are considered requiring further attention you will be advised to contact your GP.
